The SL45’ is a Racer/cruiser yacht, conceived for those owners who love to compete, especially in offshore races.

Its design to obtain its maximum performance on reaching condition due to its huge asymmetric spinnaker. This sailplan makes the yacht special for races like Cape to Rio (Cape Town to Rio de Janeiro) or the famous Transat. In contrast with its high performance, counts with a simple manoeuvre that allows an amateur crew to handle the boat on every situation. In addition, it is equipped with two rudders offering maximum control even in the most challenging conditions while reducing the wetted surface.

The interior disposition, despite being simple, offers the necessary amenities for the crew to live while they race or do deliveries. The SL 45’ it is equipped with 4 berths per side and forward accommodation for two people. In the centre of the yacht, we can find the kitchen, equipped with a double stove, a freezer and fresh water supply from the water maker, conforming the minimum equipment needed to feed the crew during long distance races.

As for the construction, it was developed with hi-tech material, like pre-peg carbon fibre and honeycomb or foam, to make a very stiff sandwich construction though out the entire hull, ensuring a very light and reliable yacht .
